Tom Lowery is a percussionist based in Chicago exploring sound through improvised music using the drum set, cymbals, and percussion. Tom has performed in a variety of musical contexts throughout his career. Sharing the stage with a wide range of performers, from Crystal Gayle to Warren G, and sitting in with Sharif Zaben’s One Pulse at Chicago’s Jazz Showcase. Through his solo percussion performances, Tom hopes to meld his passion for his instruments with his aspiration to reach the expressive heights of the great percussionists he has had the privilege of witnessing.
